Success!  Line analysis, research led to brand refocus. Commercial product line for office, healthcare, hospitality, institutional markets enjoyed sales increase of 10% in market growing at 2-3%.  Need to increase sales?

Success!  Working with plumbing products manufacturer, product lines were fine-tuned with a focus on context & style. Workshop was called a 'smashing success."  Ever need an instant (and fun) "aha!?"

Success!  Several years of research on styles and colors by room provided home office, kitchen & bath and kid's room product manufacturers with actionable information for product line styling, merchandising, retail placement and advertising planning. BIO: Designed for Success owner & creative director, Patricia Rodemann  has over 25 years experience in all aspects of strategic marketing, brand management, market research and communications for interior & exterior architectural design products, the home improvement market, automotive interiors, licensed properties and manufacturing clients.
Rodemann is a chairholder in the International CMG-Color Marketing Group. She is currently chair of color education, past chair of Saturday education and marketing committees, is an affiliate member of the IIDA -International Interior Design Association-served on statewide program planning committee (IBD) on 'green design', and holds professional researcher certification in the MRA -Market Research Association. She has won several local and regional ADDY awards for corporate capabilities literature, catalogs, sales and design brochures and merchandising. She was VP new business development & strategic planning with Borden Worldwide Decorative Products Group following a succession of design, marketing and communications positions prior to forming her own company, Designed for Success in 1995.

EDUCATION:
Her MA degree is from the ID (visual communications/ interior design/industrial design) department in the College of the Arts from OSU -the Ohio State University; BA in Journalism/mass communication from ISU-Iowa State University. Her masters research thesis was on the impact of the designed environment on behavior.  
Rodemann has done additonal post graduate work in healthcare settings, earned 2 ACPE certificates and an MTS degree from  TLS with coursework in adult development, counseling, world belief systems and ethics. She most recently completed coursework in Adobe CS3 InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator at CCAD -Columbus College Art & Design, and CEU workshops on online research, mobile marketing, ethnography and reaching  Hispanic audiences -through MRA Market Research Association.


PUBLISHED:
Rodemann is the author of text/trade book, Patterns in Interior Environments, perception, psychology & practice published by John Wiley & Sons '99,  the author of a chapter in Healthcare Design '97, and numerous trade and professional journals.  Her work has appeared in feature articles in Furniture Today, Wallcoverings, The Wallpaper, Woman's Day Home Decorating, Contract Design, the ASID Report, Color Chips and other newsletters and publications.
She holds 22 federal copyrights for design work and syndicated Designed for Success research reports.
